Working on my setup once again

In the picture below, my little inspector
Every week is just as much work as the previous one because I always working on improving the way my setup look but mostly I try to make things more efficient so I can setup faster without stress and take it down just as fast.
Last year I was the first to start setting up and the last one to finish, and same when it was time to take everything down. I want to change that!
To cut down the time of taking everything up and down, I've tested a few different hooks. At first I started to make them permanent, I tight them up and glued them.
I quickly changed my mind and made hooks that can be moved as i change my setup and bring different pictures.
I changed the way I fix the hooks, got rid of the wires and started to use some zip ties, They hold much better and they're faster to tie. I know they're not reusable but I don't plan on changing the location of my hooks very often.
I picked hooks in a U shape and put two side by side because in a outdoor setup, the wind is often a problem.
I always try to think of a way to not spend too much money but make things work well and look good. The picture above top corner show shower curtain hooks tied up with a wire so I can just hook the chicken wire walls to my canape instead of tying them up every time while trying to support it with my other hand, That was a workout!
The picture above bottom right corner show my improved floating price tags, they look like they are fixed on the frame or canvas but they are floating and permanent so all I need to do is put the picture in the location assigned to it.
I made myself some signs that tells me where each pictures go.

Each wall are now numbered to be in a specific location

The two pictures above show the setup I was gonna have last week, But wasn't able to make it since my car decided that it wasn't gonna happen. This week, I'm using my boyfriend's vehicle so I will be there. The set up will be a little bit different since I framed more prints.

Let's hope for sunshine!

I’ve been playing and got reckless with my oil paint, I’m making the switch to all natural earth paint completely safe for the environment. So I’m using up my regular store bought chemical paint, and I’m also working in to finish all paintings that I started with the regular oil paint so I can start bran new with ECO friendly natural pigment paint. I really can’t wait!

These paintings won’t be abstract, this is only the start. I’ve made this effect painting with a knife and burning the chemicals in the paint with heat. I had no idea that I would love the results It pays to be reckless some times.
They are small 8"x 10" since I was just experiencing but now that I know that I love it I'll make bigger ones.
I'm thinking these will be the sky for subjects closer to home, I'm thinking Canadian sky.
I find that we have some of the most beautiful sky all across our big beautiful county.
I do love the ocean and exotic animals so I paint a lot on those subjects.
When I have an art event, I'm being asked about 10 times a day if I do scuba diving. The question doesn't bother me but it did help me realize that I am in Alberta and should probably have at least one collection of a subject closer to home.

To answer the scuba diving question, the answer is no don't scuba dive. I like to say that I'm projecting my wishful thinking and one day I'll live by the ocean and get certified for scuba diving. I will have an underwater camera and take tons of pictures and paint like crazy!

It was a great day for art on the lawn yesterday. the music was good, the weather was perfect. My setup looked a little bare, but I'll work on that for next week. Still did good and can't wait for next week.

White Octopus in a martini glass

20" x 16"
oil on canvas

Here’s my latest painting from the latest tease peek. Every time I finish a painting it becomes my new favorite. As I think I won’t like any future creations as much as the last one, I realize how wrong I was.
